How to Remove Stamp Ink from Surfaces

If the Trodat ink has been smeared on a smooth, non-absorbent surface wipe it off with water, possibly using soap or a mild, solvent-free cleaning agent.

If absorbent materials such as textiles are affected, soak them with soapy water and rub or brush them, repeat the process with polar solvent such as alcohol. HOWEVER, you should first test a small non-visible area to ensure the chosen solvent will do the trick and not create further staining.
